Skin heads
The original skin heads culture started in the 60s and they were heavily influenced by the mod style and music tastes, they listened to soul and ska just like the mods. Initially being a skin head wasn't about politics, however this did start to become a part of this, with varying views. The skin heads that weren't so influenced by the clean cut sixties have a far more punk look about them. Skin heads were the more working class version of the mods, wearing workers boots and having shaved heads – which was as much for aesthetic reasons as it was for practically in work and in street fights.
